Summertime is all about enjoying good weather and taking a moment to relax. It is a much long anticipated stretch of lazy, lingering days and free of responsibility. It’s the best time to bask in the sun, get tanned, practice swimming strokes, explore nooks and crannies and make new friends. This is the reason why I love summertime more than anything else in the world.

Every time I stand before a beautiful beach, its waves seem to whisper to me: this is where you belong. Boracay has been a special place for me since the first day I stepped in the island. I don’t know why, maybe because of its vibe and aura; not to mention that it is one of the best party island in the world. Despite of its unpleasant appearance during the months of March until May as a result of algal bloom, Boracay has remained and still one of my favorite beaches in the Philippines.

I know it is too early for me to feel fed up and drained but that's what I'm feeling right now. But not because of my work but because it seems that my social life is slowly fading. For that reason, I took time to breathe in, slow down and breathe out with my busy weekday life and staycation is the consolation prize. Ahhhh... And I thank KL Tower Serviced Residences for accommodating me.

Known for its various tourist attractions, Sipalay City is a tempting getaway which offers a rustic ambiance and refreshing scenery. Its unspoiled beauty beholds a promise for adventure travelers, divers and beachcombers as it is bounded by numerous caves, diving sites, beaches, etc. Hence, it is a place to go and dubbed as “The Jewel of the Sugar Island”.

Set in the southernmost part of the Province of Romblon, Carabao Island (popularly known as Hambil to the locals and also known as Municipality of San Jose) is a virgin island paradise, typically rural and generally out of the usual tourist path. It is considered as Boracay’s “twin sister” because of its proximity to the island, however they offer contrasting ambiance. Carabao Island got its name from its carabao-like topography when viewed from above but according to the legends there used to be plenty of carabaos roaming freely on the island.
