A Breakthrough Experience: Ponsyon

            I used to visit Iloilo several times a month for some important commitments and things to accomplish with my mom. Nowadays, Iloilo has been growing and growing in terms of businesses like restaurants, hotels, schools, malls and other establishments.

            Iloilo caters or offers a lot of things to experience and one of those things are the food availability or the food choices and preferences. I guess I’ve been talking a lot already and I want to share what I like to by making it direct to the point – and yes, I’ll be talking about one of my favorite restaurants in Iloilo and it is Ponsyon by Breakthrough.

            Ponsyon by Breakthrough is found at Plazuela de Iloilo, Benigno Aquino Jr. Avenue, Iloilo City beside SM City at Mandurriao. The restaurant offers a lot of mouth-watering foods like seafoods, meat products and fresh fruits as beverages.

            Everytime we eat there, we used to order crab meat, adobadong alimosan (belonging to the family of catfish), lechon kawali, baked scallops and a lot more. They offer also the best fresh buko juice as well as freshly made fruit shakes. These are my favorite cuisine and beverages.

            It was my first taste of adobadong alimosan because I usually don’t eat catfish or any fresh water fish. But with my mom’s prodding I tried it and was convinced that adobadong alimosan tasted really good.

            If you’ll ask me if I would recommend this restaurant, my answer is – YES. Wait, wait, and wait! Take note it is a BIG YES because I highly recommend this restaurant that’s why it is one of my favorite restaurants here in Iloilo.
