Hotel Review: Madison 101 Hotel + Tower

The New Year has started, Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and the summer season comes next. If you have not yet planned any vacation or staycation for these occasions, don’t worry as this hotel is willing to cater your much needed rest and relaxation.

Madison 101 Hotel + Tower is conveniently situated in Quezon City along Aurora Blvd. Corner Madison St. in between J. Ruiz and Gilmore LRT Stations. It is right across the Broadway Centrum (a television studio complex that serves as the main production facility of the longest noon time show in the Philippines – Eat Bulaga) and few blocks away from Robinsons Magnolia.

The hotel features 120 rooms that serves as an ideal accommodation away from home. The area is very accessible because within its property, a laundry service, courier service, money transfer, café, in room massage, armory and a full service bank is available. These are essential for many of its guests as it provides utmost convenience.

Room Amenities, Facilities and Services:

Madison 101 Hotel + Tower is unique as it offers new hotel concept that is far more different from other hotel brands because it combines a hotel, transient and event venue. For the hotel, it has 6 different types of accommodations – Standard Room, Superior Room, Deluxe Room, Family Room, Premiere Suite and Presidential Suite which are all equipped with essential amenities tailored on each and everyone’s needs.

Each guest room is equipped with LCD television with cable, individually controlled air condition, small refrigerator, well stocked mini bar (not applicable for standard room), telephone facility, cabinets, working desk and bedside lamp. Other amenities includes complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea making facilities, towels and toiletries including dental care kits and WiFi internet connection.

On the other hand, the hotel also offers budget friendly accommodation suited for students and travelers through their dormitory and transient type rooms. It can cater guest who wish to stay longer. Likewise, they also have event venue suited to cater significant events or milestones such as birthdays, wedding reception, meetings, conferences and etc.

Experience and Overall Rating:

Few months ago, I was invited to a blogger’s event in Madison 101 Hotel + Tower. Without any hesitation, I agreed since I am a self-confessed staycation fanatic. Upon reaching Madison 101 Hotel + Tower, I immediately went straight to the reservations office or front desk for check-in. It took less than 10 minutes for me to be checked-in to my room. It was so fast and efficient, no queuing plus the front desk staffs were courteous and friendly. Impressive! Also, the hotel’s lounging area or lobby is remarkable because of its warm and intimate vibe. It is an Instagram-worthy spot for millenials!

For the room, I was given Double Deluxe Room and I am very particular on it when it comes to cleanliness. Yet, Madison 101 Hotel + Tower did not disappoint me as the room is clean and fully-carpeted. Plus its bathroom are equally squeaky clean. The toiletries are completely provided, towels are lined up and glass divider in the shower area is spotless. Although the room was not that big, an ample space to move around is provided.

Amongst the amenities of my room, what I liked most about is that there are lots of sockets, so it is a worry free in charging all my electronic gadgets. Even near the bedside lamp has a socket wherein I can charge my phone or laptop while staying on bed. Another thing that I liked about my room is it offers the best view of the city and noise were minimal considering it is facing the Aurora Blvd. wherein LRT passes by. In addition, intimate lighting were simply provided along the hallways of the hotel as well as inside the room which are all perfect for the much needed rest and relaxation.

Luckily, when I went to the sky deck I was able to witness the sun set in the horizon. As there is nothing like a beautiful sunset to end a healthy day. And speaking of ending a healthy day, I am thankful that I was able to try the budget friendly in-room massage which is just a call away to the front desk. I had a good and rejuvenating sleep!

If there’s something that I would like to recommend for Madison 101 Hotel + Tower to improve its services, it would be the things that they lack for – complimentary breakfast, bathrobe and room slippers. Those things might be simple but they create a great impact as they provide comfort and help you achieve the state of grace.

Overall, I had a wonderful staycation at Madison 101 Hotel + Tower considering its location, price, service and amenities. No wonder that this hotel is a home of celebrities – a lot of teleseryes like ‘Till I Met You, Pepito Manaloto and Alyas Robinhood, and movies like Camp Sawi were shot here. What is more fantastic is that eventhough I am not a TV personality, they made my stay feel like I am one.

So if you are planning or looking for a budget friendly and relaxing staycation without making much effort, I highly recommend Madison 101 Hotel + Tower.
