Dining Above and Beyond at Café Terraza

Café Terraza – a new café and restaurant located inside the Pueblo de Panay Township (the emerging commercial business district in Roxas City, Capiz); famous for its scenic hilltop dining. It opened last February 2014 and offers a wide array of dishes on its menu, from traditional Asian to modern Western cuisines with a Filipino twist.

The café and restaurant is perched on a hill with a backdrop of rolling greens and endless blue skies, offering a 360˚ perspective of Roxas City. It is open from 10 AM to 10 PM every day (even on Holidays) offering lunch, snacks and dinner for everyone. This means NO breaks are allowed during peak hours to provide quality and efficient service to their customers. Hence, it is a perfect place to spend time in any given occasion.

Classic and savory meat dishes and palatable seafood delights are the highlights of their menu. Their baked oysters, seafood kare-kare, pinapisikang native chicken and crispy pata are the ones you shouldn’t miss when dining here. For vegetarians, this café and restaurant offers also a wide variety of dishes for you. Chopseuy and salads are one of those few vegan dishes being offered.

Then try complementing your meal with their thirst quencher drinks and finish a selection of house-made desserts and a cup of aromatic coffee selections. In addition, pizzas and pastas as well as sandwiches and other light fare dishes are also being served. Overall, I like the unique combination of textures and flavors of the dishes as well as the way it is presented plus the AFFORDABILITY of those dishes. Delicioso! (You get more than what you pay for. I guarantee you!)

With its spacious and modern outdoor set-up, providing customers comfort using their umbrella covered tables, they have also cabanas on the other side that makes the al-fresco dining at its best. On the other hand, Café Terraza is also known for its quality service, generous servings, ample parking space and playground for kids. Likewise, for its “I LOVE (Captivating) CAPIZ” marker.

The café and restaurant can also cater large groups, special occasions and events tailored to suit everyone’s needs thru its adjacent El Circulo Convention Center.

How to Get There:

From the Roxas City center (plaza) one can opt to ride a tricycle directly to Café Terraza or alight at Robinsons Place – Roxas from there, take a jeepney (Pueblo de Panay Ikot) going to Café Terraza.
